Forney Downs Jesuit, 19-0
Unknown newspaper, but probably the Dallas Morning News
1945

FORNEY, Texas, Oct. 13 -- Forney’s undefeated and unscored-on gridders maintained their record here Friday night with a 19-to-0 triumph over Jesuit High of Dallas.

The Shipley brothers - Dan and Frank - stood out for Forney. Dan scored two touchdowns and passed to Matthews for the lone extra point, while Frank, at the right tackle, was a bulwark of the Forney line.

Jerry Layden and Bill Ewen, backs, and Allan Ford, tackle, played aggressive games for the Jesuits who never penetrated beyond the Forney 25 and made but three first downs to Forney’s twelve.
