Preston - Forney, Kaufman Co., Texas. Jan. 17 - Mrs. Leonora Preston, wife of Dr. J.L. Preston, died at her home in Forney Sunday. The funeral was held at 2 p.m. today. She leaves, besides her husband, her mother, Mrs. D.G. McKellar, who resides at this place, and a brother, Ed D. McKellar. She was prominent in social circles and leaves many friends here and at other points in the State. She and her husband had just returned from spending the holidays with the family of her husband, Dr. John L. Preston, Sr. of Austin.

Note: Leonora McKellar Preston is buried next to her husband in Hillcrest Cemetery. She was born September 16, 1886 and died July 16, 1916.
