Forney, Tex., Oct 8 - Elder J.F. Pinson died Saturday and was buried yesterday. He was 93 years old and had been a Baptist minister for many years. He was an early settler in Dallas County and donated the land upon which Buckner's Orphans' Home is situated to that institution. He had a large and influential family.

Note: Rev. Pinson is buried at Hillcrest Cemetery. He was born 18 Sep 1807 and died 6 Oct 1900. A Josiah F. Pinson is in the Precinct 2 (Forney), Kaufman County, Texas Census, born in Sep 1807 in Kentucky. Wife's name is Mildred.
