Mrs. O.A. Lewis

Mrs. Florence Pamelia Lewis passed away at her home in the Lone Elm community about noon Thursday (Dec. 21, 1944). The body was removed to Anderson-Clayton Bros. funeral home in Forney and later carried back to the residence. The service was held in the First Methodist church at Forney at 3 o'clock Friday afternoon, with Rev. F.A. Ray, pastor of the church, and Rev. L.M. Joines, pastor of the Forney Baptist church, conducting the service. Interment was made in Hillcrest cemetery. Active pallbearers: Lon Yandell, O.W. Reagin, Lawrence Bragg, W.N. Butcher, J.A. York, Frank Rhea.

Note: Mrs. Lewis was married to Oscar Adolphus Lewis, both are buried at Hillcrest Cemetery in Forney. She was born November 11, 1875 and died December 12, 1944.
