Miss Callie Walker gave one of the most interesting and entertaining parties of the season at her home in South Forney last Friday evening. The guests came dressed as ghosts, causing much merriment. Miss Porter Burbank served sandwiches in the yard, while Miss Willie Sowell got a prize, a small rake. Miss Retha Penry drew the booby prize. The party, taken as a whole, was one of the most enjoyable of the season, and all those present, hope to again be entertained by the charming hostess, Miss Walker. Those present were Misses Porter Burbank, Retha Penry of Amarillo, Lenora Alexander of Dallas, Allene Penry of Plainview, Allie Davis, Mamie and Susie Dozier, Lila G. Harris, Marguerite Logan, Hazel Penry of Dallas, Nell Dallas, Jessie Moore, Lenis Douglass, Vesta Allie and Cora Pinson, Imogene Smith, Etha Reagin, Myrtle Sowell, Jessie Nelson, Audrey Crawford. Messrs. Harry Davis, Jim Douglass, Emil Greenfield, Wilbur Davis, Newt Douglass, Dr. Shands, Arthur and Newt Pinson, Tom Layden. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Adams, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Yates, Mrs. Jim Douglass.
