Stores Burned at Forney
Fire Which Started Early Yesterday Morning Swept a Large Number of the Business Houses

Forney, Tex., March 28 - Fire broke out in the frame row north of the railroad at 5 o'clock this morning. The following is a list of the losses:

W.A. George, building, $500; no insurance.
Reagin & Lee, groceries, $400; covered by insurance.
A.B. Snow, restaurant, $400; no insurance.
John Venner, on building, $400; no insurance.
G.H. Crawford, on building, $1,000; no insurance.
Frank Bryant, shoe shop, $75; no insurance.
T.J. Cooper, groceries, $900; insurance $600.
Masonic Lodge, $600; no insurance.
Wm. Daugherty, $75; no insurance.
Forney Implement Company, building, $700; no insurance.
J.R. Daugherty, on building, $500; no insurance.
J.J. Patterson, saloon, $1,500.
Harris & Lee, restaurant, $250; no insurance.
R.G. Word, general store, loss $700; insurance $400.
Perry & McKenna, saloon, $1,000; insurance $700.
J.T. Lunn, barber shop, $40; no insurance.
J.F. Yates, on building, $800; no insurance.
J.J. Patterson, on two buildings, $2,000; partially covered.
George and William Venner, on plate-glass, $75; insured.
The Justice Court records were destroyed in the Daugherty building.
The Southwestern Telephone Company, $250.
J.L. Gassaway, on building $400; no insurance.
