FORNEY, Tex., July 3 - There have recently been good showers all through this section and a full corn crop is assured. Cotton looks well. Prospects for more rain are good.

Prof. Harper and wife organized a music class here last night consisting of twenty-five members.

The handsome residence of Mr. D.G. McKellar is nearing completion, and will add much to the appearance of the southern portion of the village. Several new residences are going up, and there is a prospect of some substantial business improvements being made soon.
