Fred J. Kasper, resident of the Talty community, died in a Terrell Hospital early Thursday. Funeral mass was held from St. Martin Catholic Church with Rev. C. Glogowski as celebrant, with interment at Oakland Cemetery in Terrell.

Ferdinand Joseph Kasper was born at High Hills, in Fayette County on Sept. 7, 1902. He moved to Palo Pinto County as a young boy and resided there until moving to Kaufman County in 1940, where he lived the remainder of his life. He was married to Miss Elenora Marie Popp and to this union four children were born. Surviving are two sons, Wilfred A. Kasper of Forney and Franklin Kasper of Terrell; two daughters, Mrs. Charlie Joe Matysek of Vernon and Mrs. George Melaun, Jr. of Seagoville.
