FORNEY, Texas, Oct. 4 - Thomas Spellman, 90, a resident of Forney for seventy-eight years, will be buried after funeral services at the First Baptist Church at 3 p.m. Sunday. He died Friday.

Spellman participated in the construction of the Texas & Pacific Railroad in this section years ago. He was a bank director here at the time of his death. His membership in the Forney Baptist Church dates back to 1906.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Lula Spellman; a son, Thomas Spellman, Jr., Dallas; two step-daughters, Mrs. Orval Hardin and Mrs. Leth W. Kellam, both of Dallas; a grandson and two granddaughters.

Note: Thomas Spellman is buried at Hillcrest Cemetery. He was born 4 Mar 1857 and died 5 Oct 1947.
