Sidney Carl, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. S.C. Grimes, passed away Saturday at local hospital; other survivors, sister, Joyce; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. G.E. Sellers, Dawson, Texas. Services Monday, 10 a.m., chapel of Prewitt Funeral Home, 1810 Denley Dr., Rev. L.F. Minnis officiating. Interment Forney, Texas.

Note: Sidney Carl Grimes was listed in the Texas Birth Index, the son of Sidney Colts Grimes and Iva Jean Sellers. He was born and died on June 15, 1951. He is buried in the Grimes family plot at Hillcrest Cemetery.
