Mrs. Mary Mills

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Mills, 56, of 5227 St. Charles, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the First Baptist Church c. Forney.

Officiating will be the Rev. James H. Stanley, assisted by the Rev. J.B. Jenkins, and the Rev. Homer Caldwell. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Forney.

Mrs. Mills died Wednesday in a Dallas hospital after a heart attack in the office of the Dallas Transit Company where she worked as an accounting clerk.

Born in Hillsboro, Mrs. Mills had lived in Dallas about 25 years. She had been with the Transit Company since 1944. Before that she was employed by Dixie Motor Coaches.

Mrs. Mills, the widow of Bryan C. Mills, was a member of the First Baptist Church in Forney and the Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors are a son, Bryan C. Mills, Jr. of Wichita Falls; a sister, Mrs. F.C. Cauble of Blum, Hill County; a brother, D.E. Butts of Caddo, Okla., and three grandchildren.

Note: Mary Vaughn Butts Mills is buried with her husband in Hillcrest Cemetery. She was born November 11, 1903 and died January 13, 1960.
