Mrs. Mary Katherine Henery, former resident of the Talty community, died in Austin early Monday morning. Mass at St. Martin church at Talty with Rev. C Glogowski and burial at Oakland Cemetery, Terrell.

Mrs. Henery, a daughter of the late Jerry Maloney and Kate Corcoran Maloney, was born in Kaufman County on April 14, 1884. She was a resident of the Irish Ridge until 1943 when she moved to Dallas, where she lived until three years ago, when she moved to Austin. She was married to John Francis Henery on Nov. 25, 1906 and to this union eight children were born.

Her husband preceded her in death and she is survived by three sons, John and James Henery of Austin and Patrick J. Henery of Dallas, five daughters, Mrs. Scott Rushing of Austin, Mrs. Thurman Birchfield of Forney, Mrs. Roy Kinard of Forney.
