Funeral services were held Saturday for Mrs. Margaret Layden Corbett at St. Bernard Church in Dallas with Msgr. Erbrick as celebrant. Interment was at Grove Hill Cemetery in Dallas. Mrs. Corbett lived in Forney many years and was a member of the Catholic Church. Surviving are three brothers, Mike and Martin Layden of Dallas, and Dennis L. Layden of Little Rock, Ark.

Note: According to the Texas Death Index, a Margeret Corbett died on March 4, 1971 in Dallas County, but there is also a Margaret E. Corbett in the SSDI that died on March 15, 1971. This person was born on February 9, 1886 and her last residence was Dallas, Texas. Not sure which is correct, however the 1910 Forney, Kaufman County census does have a Maggie Layden, born about 1885 with a brother named Martin.
