Mrs. Margaret J. Burchfield, Forney resident, died in a Dallas hospital early Sunday. Funeral mas was held at St. Martin Church at Talty on Tuesday with Father Casimir Glogowski as celebrant, with burial at Grove Hill Memorial Park in Dallas.

Margaret J. Burchfield, a daugher of the late John Francis Henery and Mary Katherine Maloney Henery, was born in Kaufman County on July 9, 1909, she grew up in the Talty community and graduated from St. Martin Academy there. She later moved to Dallas where she lived for a number of years before moving to Forney where she has lived the past twenty five years.

Her husband, Thurman R. Burchfield has preceded her in death and she is survived by three brothers: John and Patrick J. Henery, and Jim Henery of Austin, three sisters, Marie Malone and Agnes Boykin of Dallas, Annie Rushing of Austin and Teresa Kinard of Forney.
