J. M. Daugherty, citizen of this place for over 50 years, died yesterday and buried today. He leaves thirteen children and thirteen grandchildren.

Note: James M. Daughery was buried at Hillcrest Cemetery. The headstone shows he was born April 12, 1955 and died August 27, 1911.
