Billy R. Whorton

CARROLLTON - Funeral services for Billy Raymond Whorton, 43, of 2104 Tecumseh Trace, a cargo supervisor for Braniff International, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Rhoton-Weiland-Merritt Funeral Chapel.

A native of Forney, Whorton lived in Dallas 38 years before moving to Carrollton in 1963. He died Sunday in Dallas.

He was a World War II and Korean War Marine veteran and had been employed by Braniff for 18 years.

Survivors, all of Carrolton: Wife and three daughters, Miss Monica Whorton, Miss Mariette Whorton and Miss Evette Whorton.
