Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon for Mrs. C.L. Chapman who died Wednesday in a Terrell hospital following several days illness. Rev. Alton Vaughan and Rev. L.B. Jenkins were in charge of the rites at the First Methodist church. Interment was in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Note: Betty T. (Trail) Chapman is buried at Hillcrest Cemetery next to her husband Charles Lane Chapman. She was born December 29, 1880 and died August 1958.
