Forney, Tex., Jan. 24 - At a special election held here today the following city officers were elected: A.F. Duke, Mayor; R.W. Crawford, City Marshal; R.P. Pinson, J.M. Lewis, Yancey McKellar, J.C. Reagin and J.A. Cooley, Aldermen. Steps will be taken at once to put in operation a system of waterworks, with water supplied from the new artesian well.

Thirty-five thousand dollars of the stock in the new oil mill has been subscribed and the entire amount will be secured this week.
