100 Pecan Trees Planted On New School Campus By Forney Lions Club

FORNEY, Texas, April 19,- One hundred pecan trees have been planted on the new school campus here by members of the Forney Lions Club, W. H. Crawford, president, announced Wednesday. The club also backs the local Boy Scout troop, gives eyeglasses and obtains medical treatment for the needy and sponsors school sports. Meetings are held at local churches each Wednesday noon.

The club is now about twelve years old.  In addition to Mr. Crawford,  officers include W. P. Thomas, first vice-president;  L. I. Dietz,  secretary, and J. E. Heffington, immediate past president.
