Forney, Texas Sept. 3 – The public schools of Forney will open on Monday, Sept 5.  The school building has been completely overhauled and is now in good condition for the opening day.  Following is a list of the teachers for the Forney public schools this year:  J. N. Andrews, superintendent; W .G. Womack, principal; Miss Anice Jenkins, Miss Juanita Bridges, Mrs. Eva Ford, Miss  Nell McCain, Miss Anne Clara Wray, Miss Ethel Jenkins, Miss Lelia Royal, Miss Allyne Peters, Miss Avis Slaughter.  Negro school: W. M. Lee, principal; W. M Lee.
