Funeral services for Walter Asberry Nalls, 75, of Dallas, a former Forney resident, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Forney First Baptist Church. Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Mr. Nalls died Tuesday in Dallas.

Survivors: Wife; three sons, Leon B. Nalls and Billy James Nalls of Dallas and Burl Nalls of Phoenix, Ariz.; four daughters, Mrs. Aletha Roberts and Mrs. Vera Elliott of Dallas, Mrs. Leta Ray Milam of Anna, Collin County, and Mrs. Erma Jo Kean of Irving; two brothers, T.C. Nalls of Rockwall and J.L. Williams and Mrs. B.J. Jackson of Dallas; a sister, Mrs. M.A. Brackman of California and 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Walter A. Nalls, 75, of 405 East 12th St., a retired farmer, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the First Baptist Church in Forney. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery there.

Mr. Kalls [sic], a native of Alabama, died here Tuesday.

He had lived and farmed in Forney from 1909 until retiring and moving here 15 years ago. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Forney.

Survivors: Wife; four daughters, Mrs. W.E. Roberts and Mrs. Arthur Elliott of Dallas, Mrs. Joe Milan of Anna, Collin County, and E.L. Kean of Irving; three sons, Leon Nalls and Bill Nalls of Dallas and Bert Nalls of Phoenix, Ariz.; four sisters, Mrs. J.B. Jackson and Mrs. John L. Williams of Dallas, Mrs. Marvin Brackman of Pomona, Calif., and Mrs. O.M. Williams of Forney; two brothers, Leonard Nalls of Anna and T.C. Nalls of Rockwall, 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
