Funeral Services Held for Mrs. Vines

Mrs. Vera Isabell Vines, resident of Dallas, died in Dallas early Wednesday evening. Funeral services will be held from the First Baptist Church in Forney at 10:30 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Jerry Griffin officiating. Interment will be in the Hillcrest cemetery in Forney under the direction of the Anderson-Clayton Funeral Home.

Mrs. Vines was born in Terrell, Texas, April 3, 1915. She lived there for a number of years and later moved to Grand Saline and Forney where she lived until five years ago when she moved to Dallas.

She was a member of the Parkdale Baptist Church.

Surviving her are: her husband, John L. Vines of Dallas; five sons, Ollie Ray Farmer of Forney, Jackie Earl Farmer of Dallas, Ralph Michael Farmer of El Paso, Sammy Farmer of Waco, Jimmy Ray Farmer of El Paso; two daughters, Mrs. Jo Ann Poteet of Mesquite, Miss Norma Dianne Farmer of Dallas; three grandchildren; three brothers, W.J. Huddleston of Terrell, Sam Huddleston of Waco, Joe Huddleston of Mesquite; one sister, Mrs. Mae Mosley of California; a number of nieces and nephews.

We are deeply grateful to our friends in Forney for the wonderful kindness shown us at the death of our beloved wife and mother. Your words of sympathy, the bountiful food, the beautiful flowers and your prayers, all helped greatly to make the time of grief easier to bear.

Mrs. Vera Isabell, passed away in Dallas Wednesday. Survived by husband, John L.
