Mrs. R.E. Nalls Dies in Forney

Mrs. Richard E. Nalls, resident of Forney, passed away at her home there Tuesday night. Funeral services will be held from the Anderson-Clayton Chapel in Forney at 2:30 p.m. today with Mr. Max Tipton, minister of the Church of Christ, officiating. Interment will be in the Hillcrest cemetery in Forney.

Rildie Nalls was born at Anderson, Alabama on August 13, 1866. She came to Kaufman county around 1906 and had lived in and near Forney since that time.

She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She was married to Richard E. Nalls in 1888 and to this union three children were born. One son preceded her in death and she is survived by her husband of Forney; two sons, Will Nalls of Forney, Charley Nalls of New Hope, Dallas county; twelve grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. John Roberts of Dallas; and a number of nieces and nephews.

 

Note: Richard & Rildie Nalls are buried at Hillcrest Cemetery without headstones.
