Michael T. Higgins, 55, of 511 Longridge, a mechanic for the KC Co. for two years, died here Sunday.

Born in Port Lavaca, Calhoun County, he had lived in Dallas for 35 years. Higgins was a member of St. James Catholic Church and a charter member of the Oak Cliff Council of the Knights of Columbus. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a graduate of St. Martin Academy in Irish Ridge, Kaufman County.

Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday in Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. James Catholic Church. Entombment will be in the Restland Chapel Garden Mausoleum.
