Forney Resident 60 years Passes; Rites Set Sunday

Funeral services for Mrs. Jennie Trail Hefner, 70, of Forney, who died Saturday in a local hospital, will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Christian Church in Forney,  with the Rev. W. C. Morro, pastor of the church, officiating.  Burial will be at the Forney Cemetery.

Mrs. Hefner had been visiting with her daughter, Mrs. C. Richard Clark, 3025 Lovers Lane.  Other survivors are a granddaughter, Carol Clark, Dallas; five sisters, Mrs. W. M. Groves, Mrs. C.L. Chapman, Mrs. W. P. Thomas, Forney; Mrs. J.T. Shipley, Crandall, and Mrs. Helen Garner, Edna; four brothers, Alec Trail, Will Trail, Newton Trail, Forney, and Scott Trail, Kaufman.

Mrs. Hefner came to Texas at the age of 11 from her birthplace, Shelbyville, Tenn., making the trip with her parents in a covered wagon.  She had lived in Forney almost sixty years.

Pallbearers will be James Brooks, Paul Clarkson, Burnie Duke, Guyton McKeller, Forney; Henry Fussell and John L. Allison, Dallas.
