FORNEY, Texas, May 14- Frank M. Adams, veteran druggist of Kaufman County, died at a Forney sanitarium Monday morning at 7 o’clock following a stroke of apoplexy, which occurred on May 1. He was born in Nacogdoches in July, 1858, and at an early age moved with his parents to Kemp, Kaufman County.  In 1878 he started in the drug business in Forney and with the exception of four years in which he served as postmaster under the Cleveland administration, he continued the business uninterruptedly until five years ago, when he retired on account of failing health.  At the time of his death he was serving as city secretary, a position he had held for many years.  He was a charter member of the I. O. O. F. and the K. of P. Lodges, a past master in the Masonic Lodge at this place, a Knight Templar and Shriner, membership being held in Dallas.  He was an elder in the Presbyterian Church.

He leaves his wife and three children, F. M. Adams Jr. , Mrs. Leta Rhea  Riter and Yancey Dailey Adams, and one brother, Walter D. Adams.

The funeral will be held at the Methodist Church in Forney Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock.
