FORNEY, Texas – Funeral services for E.H. Sims Sr., 65, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the First Baptist Church wit the Rev. James Stanley and the Rev. L.M. Joines officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Sims died Friday night at his home in Dallas.

Born in Rockwall, Sims moved to Forney in 1918 and to Dallas in 1949. He was a member of the Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Austin Sims and Hugh Sims, both of Dallas; three sisters, Mrs. Ora Davis and Mrs. Mattie Sue White, both of Rockwall, and Mrs. Walter Richardson of Dallas; a brother, Mott Sims of McKinney, and one grandchild.
