Services Saturday for Mrs. Shook

Funeral services were conducted in Terrell at 2 p.m. last Saturday for Mrs. Clara Maud Shook, the mother of two Forney residents.

Mrs. Shook, 80, died in a Forth Worth hospital June 10.

A native of Hunt county, she was born March 18, 1885. She lived for man years in the Chisholm community, and later moved to Fort Worth. She was a member of the Methodist Church.

Mrs. Shook is survived by her husband, J.B. Shook of Fort Worth; four sons, C.M. Shook of Rockwall, L.W. Shook of Crowley, J.D. Shook of Forney and B.D. Shook of Crandall; three daughters, Mrs. Thelma Nichols of Forney, Mrs. Hazel Toney and Mrs. Jessie Hancock, both of Fort Worth; one brother, two sisters, 16 grandchildrenn and a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Burial was in the Chisholm cemetery.

TERRELL, Texas (Sp.) – Mrs. Clara Maud Shook, a former resident of Chisholm, Rockwall County, died in a Fort Worth hospital Thursday night.

Services will be held at the Anderson Clayton Chapel at 2 p.m. Saturday.

Interment will be in the Chisholm Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, J.B. Shook of Fort Worth; four sons, C.M. Shook of Rockwall, L.W. Shook of Crowley, J.D. Shook of Forney and B.D. Shook of Crandall; three daughters, Mrs. Thelma Nichols of Forney, Mrs. Hazel Toney and Mrs. Jessie Hancock, both of Fort Worth; one brother, Joe Denman; two sisters, Mrs. Eva Baldwin, both of Dallas, and Mrs. Oma Morman of Sweetwater.
