Forney Post Office Lease Approved

WASHINGTON, Nov. 28 – The Post Office Department Tuesday announced acceptance of a proposal made by Walter D. Adams of Forney, Texas, to lease a site for a post office there on east side of Main Street, between Bois d’Arc and Elm Streets for a period of ten years from March 2, 1940, or upon completion of repairs and improvements. Lease will include equipment, safe, water, sewerage service, parcel post and postal savings furniture.
