Laten Stanberry has bought the Forney Messenger from his brother, W.M. Stanberry, and is now in charge of that paper. Laten is both a good editor and a good printer – also a good fellow – and he will make the Messenger worthy of the patronage of every Forney citizen.

Note: There’s a Laten Standberry in the 1910 Clarksville, Red River County, Texas census, wife is Christie, daughter is Mary L., age 1. Laten is listed as a Newspaper Proprietor. There is also a W.M. Stansberry/Standberry in the same town. Neither are in Forney.
