Forney Gap Completion Soon Will Be Started

AUSTIN,TEXAS. March 3 –Completion of the Forney gap a short unimproved section on Highway No. 15 in Kaufman County that has impaired a main route out of Dallas to East Texas for years, is a short time distant  Surveys and estimated for the work to a connection with  the Dallas County road have been ordered by the Highway Commission.   W.F. Pass has been appointed engineer to supervise the project.  M.C  Wellborn superintendent of construction said Saturday.

An appropriation of $3000 was made by the commission to cover the surveying work, and a similar sum to cover maintenance of the detour on Highway No. 15 in Kaufman County while an underpass is under construction east of Terrell.
