Miss Patricia Pinson Marries Elmer Wilson

FORNEY, Texas – Miss Patricia Minns Pinson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clem T. Pinson, and Elmer Dean Wilson exchanged wedding vows Saturday night in the home of the bride’s uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Guyton McKellar. The Rev. L.M. Barnett of Mesquite officiated.

Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. E.E. Wilson of Pampa.

Wedding music was presented by Mrs. Blanchard Boyer and Mrs. L.H. Stollenwerck, and Mr. Pinson gave his daughter in marriage. She wore a gown of shirred yellow nylon tulle with a yoke of Alencon lace trimmed in seed pearls. A matching cap of tulle and pearls held her fingertip illusion veil.

She carried white gardenias and stephanotis.

Miss Sara Pinson, the bride’s sister, and Jim Wilson of Pampa, brother of the bridegroom, were attendants. Miss Drusilla Pinson lighted candles. Liz Mizell of Dallas was flower girl.

The house party for a reception after the ceremony included Miss Drusilla Pinson, Miss Mary Gristy and Miss Nancy Riter.

After a trip to New Orleans, La., the newlyweds will reside in Lubbock, where they both attend Texas Tech. The bride belongs to Kappa Alpha Theta sorority and Alpha Lambda Delta; Mr. Wilson is a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity and the Double A association.
