Mrs. S.D. Moore and Mrs. Albert Hinton entertained with a miscellaneous shower Tuesday from 5 to 7 o’clock on the lawn of Mrs. Moore’s for Mrs. Kendrick Shanks, who was before her marriage, June 24, Miss Lois Farmer.

Mrs. Shanks was presented a large basket filled with many lovely and useful gifts.

Refreshments consisting of chicken salad sandwiches, potato chips, olives, cookies and iced tea were served to Mrs. O.P. Farmer, Mrs. Linn Roland, Mrs. Jack Venner, Miss Bobby Farmer, Mrs. Lonzo Yandell and son, David, Mrs. Ernest Farmer, Mrs. J. Barry, Miss mayme Lou Farmer, Mrs. D.A. Yandell, Mrs. Johnny Clarkson, Mrs. M.C. Blackburn, Mrs. Paul Clarkson, Mrs. Hugh Saulter, Miss Kate Lewis, Mrs. Herbert Shanks, Mrs. John Pippins, Miss Marie Pippins, Mrs. J.L. Laird, Mrs. John Clary, Mrs. Arthur Yates, Miss Dorothy Peters, Mrs. McKinley Mills, Mrs. Thomas Anderson, Mrs. Charles Chapman, Miss Mildred Chapman, Mrs. John Boles, Mrs. Pat Zarafonetis, the honoree and the hostesses.
