Martha Britton, Fred Lewis Jr. To Be Married

Miss Martha Cornelia Britton will become the bride of Fred M. Lewis Jr. of Little Rock, Ark., Sunday morning at Cliff Temple Baptist Church. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.L. Britton of Bentonville, Ar., and Mr. Lewis Jr. is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred M. Lewis of Forney.

Dr. Wallace Bassett will perform the ceremony in the pastor’s study in the presence of the immediate families.

The bride-elect will wear a dress of soldier blue crepe with brown accessories and a shoulder bouquet of gardenias. Miss Barbara Horton, the bride’s only attendant, will be dressed in blue with black accessories and a corsage of daisy chrysanthemums.

Wayman B. Jefferson will attend Mr. Lewis Jr. as best man.

After a trip to San Antonio, the couple will make their home in Little Rock. For traveling the bride will wear a black velvet suit with a white blouse and black accessories.
