SMU graduates Miss Martha Ann Hamblen and Edward Clark Griffith are planning an Oct. 20 wedding in the Fort Stewart Chapel in Fort Stewart, Ga.

Announcement of the engagement has been made by her mother, Mrs. Aline Pollard Hamblen of Tyler, formerly of Dallas.

The bride-elect, whose father is James E. Hamblen of Dallas and Forney, was co-rush chairman and scholarship chairman of Pi Beta Phi and a Rotunda beauty nominee.

The prospective bridegroom, whose parents are Mr. and Mrs. John M. Griffith of Taylor, was a member of Phi Delta Theta at SMU.
