Forney Girl to Become Bride in June Wedding

FORNEY, Kaufman Co., Texas, June 8 – Mrs. J.C. Griffin of Forney entertained with a tea Friday afternoon, announcing the approaching marriage of her daughter, Linn, to Louis Irl Dietz of Forney. The guests were greeted at the door by Mrs. Blocker Martin. The receiving line included Mrs. Griffin, Miss Griffin, Miss Nell Dietz, Mrs. Joe L. Jones and members of the bridal party who are Miss Francis Griffin, sister of the bride-elect, maid of honor, and Miss Mattie Belle Battle of Commerce and Miss Stella Marie Rudd of Arlington, bridesmaids.

The marriage will take place June 22 at the First Christian Church.
