FORNEY, Texas, July 12 – Mr. and Mrs. Ernest A. Farmer of Forney announced the engagement of their daughter, Betty Ernestine, to James Wily Berry, son of Mr. and Mrs. John L. Berry of Dallas.

The wedding will take place at the First Methodist Church in Forney on Sunday, Aug. 8.

Several parties and showers have been planned for Miss Farmer.
