The First Baptist Church of Forney was the setting for the Aug. 25 wedding of Richard James Bayliss Jr. and his bride, the former Miss Jena Anice Jacobs, 405 Bowie. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Byron Jacobs. Mr. Bayliss is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben K. Bloomfield of Forney.

The Rev. Jerry D. Griffin officiated for the newlyweds, who will live in Oklahoma.
