Ex-Rabbit, Now A Saint, Nominated NFL Man of Year

Don Morrison, a player with the New Orleans Saints, has been nominated NFL Man of the Year, it was learned recently.

Morrison played football for the Forney Jackrabbits before he began his professional football career and received a scholarship from Forney High School to the University of Texas, Arlington. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Morrison, who reside in the Lawrence community just outside Terrell.

Morrison was nominated on the basis of his participation in community affairs as well as on his playing ability.
