Charles Thomas Criswell, son of Joseph McDuffy Criswell and Caroline Criswell, was born 16 February 1879 in Choccolocco, Calhoun County, Alabama (near Birmingham).  He came to Texas with his father in December 1901.  He married Mary Prudence Jones in 1912 and moved her into a beautiful home for a wedding gift.  They lived their entire married life in that house, on a farm four miles north of Forney, Texas.  Charles T. died in 1955.  His daughters were Adelaide and Adele Criswell.

Adelaide, born 24 July 1915, married Thomas E. Whittemore and had three somes, Thomas Edward, Jr., Claude Patrick, and Jon Frederick.  Thomas Edward, Jr. married Kay Cobb and had a daughter, Melissa Michelle, and a son, Kevin Edward.  Adelaide’s second son, Pat, became a Methodist minister.  The third son, Jon, married Marion Maloney.

Adele, born 5 November 1918, married Johnny O’Grady and had four boys, Charles Michael, John Patrick, James Timothy, Thomas Gregory, and a girl, Mary Kathleen.  Charles Michael O’Grady married Karen Wilson and had two sons, James Michael and John Howard.  John Patrick O’Grady married Jeanne Kelly and had two daughters, Caitlin Rose and Cristin Moira.  James Timothy O’Grady married Vicki Sue McKinsey and had a daughter, Kelly McKinsey O’Grady.  Mary Kathleen O’Grady married Michael Thomas Lapsys and had a son, Troy Conan, and a daughter, Nicole Elizabeth.  The O’Grady family have always made their home in California.
